Write for us
Stellar Sports Review welcomes pitches that make a specific part of sport easier to understand. Proposals should offer a clear reader question, a sound scope and an explanation that can stand without current results or unsupported claims.
Good subjects for a pitch
We are interested in enduring questions about rules, tactics, formats, player roles, equipment and the patterns a spectator can follow. A strong pitch names the sport and the precise situation it will explain. It also says what the reader will be able to recognise or understand after reading.
How to shape the idea
Keep the central question narrow enough to answer well. Tell us the proposed angle, the key distinctions the piece will make and what material would support factual claims. Explain any limits, such as differences between formats or rule sets. We prefer direct explanations over prediction, hype or a catalogue of jargon.
Send a proposal
Send pitches through the Contact page and select the editorial question option. Include a working title and a short outline; a finished article is not needed for an initial proposal. Please do not include confidential material or claim experience or credentials that cannot be substantiated.
A score is only part of the story
Knowing what to watch makes a contest easier to follow. We start with the detail, explain its purpose, and leave the jargon on the bench.
