Stellar Sports Review

Editorial policy

Stellar Sports Review aims to make sporting details understandable without stretching what a piece can establish. We explain scope, separate description from opinion and correct errors when they are identified.

Accuracy and scope

Writers should check claims against dependable material suited to the subject, including the relevant sport's published rules where rules are being explained. Articles should identify the sport, format or situation they cover when that affects the answer. We avoid unsupported certainty, and we do not present general explanations as advice on officiating or participation.

Independence

Editorial decisions are made for reader relevance and clarity. A commercial relationship does not entitle a partner to set conclusions or receive favourable coverage. We disclose any material connection that could reasonably affect how readers interpret a piece.

Corrections

Readers can report a possible error through the Contact page. We review specific, checkable concerns and correct confirmed mistakes in the relevant article. Where a correction changes the meaning of a piece, we make that change clear rather than silently leaving readers with the earlier version.

Paid material and partners

Paid articles, partner placements and other material produced through a commercial arrangement are clearly labelled where they appear. Labels distinguish that material from independent editorial work. Partner involvement does not guarantee coverage elsewhere on the site.

From the desk

A score is only part of the story

Knowing what to watch makes a contest easier to follow. We start with the detail, explain its purpose, and leave the jargon on the bench.
